Using personal experience stories, you are encouraged to live like you are dying. We all are! We can learn to savor every moment like it might be our last. We can cherish every relationship because it could be our last time together on this earth. Yet we also have all eternity to live with the Lord and one another. That changes everything!
(This is probably my favorite subject to speak on!)
Building a Life of Prayer
You will be challenged to keep expanding your prayer life through encouragement and practical ways to invest in a relationship with our Lord through prayer day after day. Includes personal testimony, prayer starters, journals and opportunities to dive right in to experience the joy and power of the Lord through prayer. For over 17 years, Eva has written regular Prayer Peeks & Prompts to be shared with the public in hopes of spurring on others to pray to the Lord more deeply and consistently.
(Also offered: Church- wide Prayer Sessions are led by Eva and her husband Dwight to help churches to grow in prayer)
Gardening With God
Jesus taught many lessons through plants. Eva was born with green blood, grew up in a family greenhouse and continues to learn more about the Lord through gardening and landscaping. Included are tips on gardening as we learn about pruning, sowing, soil preparation, fertilizing and the vast truths God wants to plant in our hearts. He’s always in the garden waiting to meet with us.
Make Disciples of Your Children
The most important job you may ever have is creating disciples of the Lord in your children. Purposeful ways to lead your children to our Heavenly Father and to help them grow more mature spiritually, mentally and emotionally. It’s a job given to you by God Himself. Eva has 7 grown children and their spouses, 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, along with 20 years experience as an early education teacher.
(Eva also speaks on Blended Families-Bonded Together With God’s Love)
Getting Through Grief with Real Help and Eternal Hope
These sessions are available for churches, hospice services, and funeral homes to bring hope and help to grieving families. If there has been a tragedy in the community, or several recent deaths in the church family. Eva is a certified Grief Recovery Specialist and has helped people through the worst part of grief for over 25 years in a weekly support group. She has also written My Forever Memories of You which helps the hurting hold on to the Lord as they walk through the valley of the shadow of death and find joy on the other side.
She also hosts special events called GETTING THROUGH THE HOLIDAYS which helps those who have had a death in the past year. It is a celebration of life- a way to honor loved ones. This small group setting offers specific thoughts on getting through the holidays, and brings people together who can help one another through grief.
These can be offered to an entire church or smaller group.
Mother Mary in character
Eva dresses and comes in character as an older “Mother Mary” to tell groups how it was to be Jesus’ mother. It is especially meaningful at Christmas and Easter. She is introduced as Mary and not as herself. She’s been blessed to appear in character in front of children’s classes, youth groups, Women’s groups, Easter Egg Hunts, family gatherings and Christmas dinners.
